(1) Under the direct supervision of the head of the department, the investigation officer may conduct direct payment techniques (control delivery) and undercover operations to investigate crimes related to money laundering and financial investment in terrorist activities. (2) Investigation of crimes related to money laundering and financial investment in terrorist activities If it is seen that more evidence and information about the crime and the offender can be obtained by not arresting the person who is involved in the crime or who has reasonable grounds to suspect it, than immediately arresting the person who is involved in the crime or who has reasonable grounds to suspect it, and in doing so, the possibility of the person involved in the crime or who has reasonable grounds to suspect it is less likely to escape. If the report of the matter is received from the investigation officer and the head of the department is satisfied with that matter, he may order that such person can only be secretly monitored without arresting him immediately.
